The first sequence, which includes the “false film”, B-class production called Co-Ed Frenzy (the title probably refers to the Hitchcock’s 1972 thriller), relies largely on the POV long tracking shots. Moreover, slow motion camera and the move it makes are metaphors of Jack’s situation: he would like to stop the time and erase couple of last hours (as he can erase the tapes), but it is simply impossible.
